Southern Cross Welding & Fabrication LLC.

We started our business Southern Cross Welding & Fabrication LLC. back in 2019 & have had the pleasure of being able to serve the Big Island of Hawaii since then. 

I attended Hawaii Community College for 3 years & majored in the M.W.I.M. program (Welding, Machining, & Industrial Mechanic's.) In which time I was exposed to & preformed various welding & machining applications. 

After attending HCC for the 3 years I was hired at Miranda Country Store several years after leaving the M.W.I.M. program as a apprentice welder & fabricator. 

During my time working at Miranda Country Store I worked my way up from apprentice welder to lead welder after my foreman Alex Borero stepped out for retirement. I worked for Miranda Country Store for a year and a half after until late 2018. 

In 2019 I left Miranda Country Store & decided to started Southern Cross Welding & Fabrication LLC. Since that time we have enjoyed working for Helco on Kona side at the Keahouli power plant as subcontractor's preforming repair's on the exhaust tunnels, turbine shaft overhaul & repair's along with various other structural steel reinforcements on building & cat walk's. 

We provide any and all services pertaining to metallurgic applications of welding & fabrication including mild steel, black iron, cast iron, aluminum, & stainless steel welding & fabrication. 

When at HCC attending the M.W.I.M. program I remember my instructor telling our class this quote, "no one person knows everything & we are continuously learning during our lives both in youth & old age, if you don't know the answer to a question be honest & admit it, the intelligent individual will confess honestly & find the correct answer".  

When you love what you do you will never work a day in your life, this is how I feel about my profession & everyday I learn & grow. We love being able to provide our community with quality workmanship & professional approaches to any project we are tasked in provide our skilled services. 

I take a personal & professional approach to all of the projects we are blessed to complete in a timely & affordable manner.
